Storeman (Warehouse/Cold-room)– Fruitique -Killarney Gardens

POSITION INFO

Main purpose of the job

Receive finished goods from production and ensure goods are stored in the correct warehouse and coldroom to maintain the cold chain according to best practices. Customer orders are distributed according to best practices and customer requirements.

Preferred Requirements

• Matric (Gr.12)
• Forklift licence
• Induction training and training on warehouse/coldroom area work procedures and instructions

Knowledge

• Knowledge and understanding of stores stock control and principles
• Knowledge and understanding of Warehouse Principles and Practices
• Quality procedures
• Cleaning procedures
• Health and safety procedures
• Personal hygiene standards
• GMP and FIFO principles and practices

Skills

• Knowledge and understanding of OHS procedures and practices within the store’s environment.
