Accounts/PA/Office Assistant (Hybrid)

POSITION INFO

Hybrid Accounts and Office Administrator handles day-to-day financial transactions and general office operations.

Qualifications

Matric

Accounts/administration certificate or similar

Requirements

3-5 years office administration/ personal assistance experience

3-5 years’ experience accounts experience (Month end procedures)

Manage/ arrange bookings for travel

Happy to work 2-3 days per week at the office (Managements discretion)

Duties

Process and capture supplier invoices, reconcile statements, and prepare payment runs.

Generate customer invoices, track outstanding balances, and assist with credit control.

Process petty cash and conduct daily or weekly bank reconciliations.

Greet visitors, manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, and direct phone inquiries.

Track, order, and replenish office supplies and IT equipment.

Coordinate courier services, track deliveries, and book travel arrangements when necessary.

Reconcile sub-ledgers (debtors and creditors) to the general ledger.

Prepare and process recurring journals (e.g., depreciation, accruals, prepayments).

Assist with management accounts, expense variance reports, and cash flow forecasts for management.
