A well-established organisation in the FMCG space is looking to appoint a Senior Business Analyst.

This role is focused on aligning business needs with system capabilities by analysing requirements, improving processes, and delivering fit-for-purpose solutions. You will work closely with finance and operational teams to enhance system functionality and support effective business decision-making.

This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned analyst who is comfortable working across systems and business functions, and who can drive projects from concept through to implementation.

Key responsibilities

  • Gather and interpret business requirements and translate them into system solutions
  • Review existing systems and identify areas for improvement or optimisation
  • Assess and recommend system enhancements or new applications where required
  • Draft clear business and functional specifications for development and implementation
  • Configure and implement system solutions (internal or third-party)
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of system-related projects
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs, technical standards, and timelines
  • Maintain accurate system and process documentation
  • Support the implementation and rollout of system changes across the business
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure system effectiveness

Job experience and skills required

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (Required)
  • Strong understanding of systems analysis and solution design
  • Good understanding of financial processes and reporting environments
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong planning and organisational capability

Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in business analysis or systems analysis
  • Proven experience with Oracle EBS R12 (implementation and support)
  • Experience working across finance-related modules (GL, AP, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Tax)
  • Exposure to Procure-to-Pay and operational business processes
  • Strong project management and delivery experience
  • Experience working in pharmaceutical or FMCG environments (advantageous)
  • Experience working with senior finance stakeholders
