PAG Cleaning Services is seeking an experienced and professional Cleaning Supervisor with 3 to 5 years’ experience in the cleaning industry. The successful candidate must be able to manage cleaning teams across multiple sites, conduct site visits, train staff, monitor service standards, address client concerns and ensure daily operations run smoothly.

The candidate must have good knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment usage, deep cleaning, colour coding, staff management, client communication, landscaping basics, gardening oversight, waste management and operational planning.

· Manage cleaning teams across various sites and ensure all sites are properly staffed, supervised and compliant with company and client requirements.

· Conduct regular site visits, inspections, staff training and performance checks.

· Train staff on company policies, procedures, site rules, cleaning standards, chemical usage, equipment usage, colour coding, health and safety and general workplace conduct.

· Arrange staff and organise replacement staff for sites when there are shortages, absenteeism, leave or operational changes.

· Monitor client WhatsApp groups, address complaints or concerns, respond professionally to emails and escalate operational issues where required.

· Compile monthly reports, incident reports, client feedback, quotations for deep cleans, once-off cleaning work and other client requests.

· Oversee basic landscaping, gardening and waste management operations, including confirming which tools and equipment must be used and when equipment must be serviced or maintained.

· Use the company QMS system to record inspections, training, site issues, incidents, staff performance, shortages, corrective actions and operational feedback.

· Interview and evaluate cleaning candidates to ensure the correct staff are selected and placed at suitable sites.

· Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in the cleaning industry.

· Valid driver’s license is required.

· Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.

· Must be able to deal with clients professionally and communicate clearly.

· Must be able to use Microsoft Office 365 at a basic operational level, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

· Must be able to use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude for emails, reports, planning, quotations and operational communication.

· Must be able to use and update a QMS system.

· Strong knowledge of deep cleaning, cleaning chemicals, cleaning equipment, machinery, consumables and colour coding.

· Basic knowledge of landscaping, gardening operations, waste management, tools, equipment usage, equipment servicing and equipment control is required.

· Must be able to train staff, manage teams, arrange replacement staff and ensure site coverage during shortages.

· Good planning, time-management, leadership, communication and organisational skills are essential.

· Must be reliable, punctual, proactive and able to work under pressure.

Preference will be given to candidates who live close to the head office at 323 North Village Lane, Lynnwood, Pretoria, or within reasonable travelling distance.

R12 000 to R16 000 per month, depending on experience
