SAIPA Accountant Opportunity in Gauteng

Key responsibilities
- Preparation and compilation of annual financial statements
- Manage accounting and bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
- Assist with tax compliance, submissions, and SARS-related queries
- Support audit and assurance processes where required
- Contribute to advisory engagements and client solutions
- Utilise modern accounting systems and digital tools
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Completed SAIPA training contract
- BCom Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
Experience
- Experience gained within a small to medium-sized accounting or audit firm
- Exposure to financial reporting, tax, and client engagements
Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple client portfolios
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
