Position Overview

A Facilities Floater is responsible for assisting the Property Manager(s) in overseeing the daily property operations on the allocated sites. This role ensures smooth operations onsite, that properties are well-maintained, landlord standards are maintained, company policies and procedures are adhered to and provide a positive experience for tenants.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conducting site inspections on allocated sites.
  • Conducting move in and exit inspections with tenants on allocated sites.
  • To investigate maintenance queries and report them to the maintenance team.
  • Contact tenants who may have queries and disputes and resolve queries timeously.
  • Deliver letters to tenants: letters of demands, warning letters and statements.
  • Draft letters to address complex issues.
  • Update Telegram groups.
  • Monitor and track progress reports on MS Teams on various projects within the portfolio.
  • Oversee security and grounds staff on selected sites.
  • Assistance with conducting viewings with potential tenants.
  • Occasional assistance with marketing on sites.
  • Assist with credit control on selected sites.
  • Draw up reports and liaise with the body corporate teams.
  • Draft and distribute minutes of meetings called by Property Managers.
  • Ensure that sites are compliant with Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Assist with attaining and summarizing quotations for Property Managers.
  • Monitor and track site inventory reports.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Grade 12
  • Certificate/ Diploma in the field of Real Estate Management/ Property Management, Project
  • Management/Facilities Management/Procurement
  • At least 2 years working experience in the property related field.
