We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to join our client's team at our Hermanus office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys structure, accuracy, and working with financial detail in a professional office environment.

POSITION INFO

Role: Junior Bookkeeper

Location: Hermanus, Overberg, Western Cape

Salary: R20 000 per month neg

What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Processing supplier invoices and performing reconciliations
Capturing and maintaining accurate financial records
Performing bank reconciliations and managing petty cash
Assisting with month-end processes
Managing debtors and creditors administration
Providing filing and general administrative support
Communicating professionally with suppliers and colleagues
Working independently and taking initiative where required

What We Are Looking For

2–3 years’ bookkeeping experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Professional, reliable, and trustworthy work ethic
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Valid driver’s licence

Systems and Software

Experience with accounting software (Sage preferred)
Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
This is an office-based position in Hermanus

Additional Benefit

A private cottage is available as part of the package for candidates relocating or based outside Hermanus
