Midvaal Recruitment is currently seeking a motivated and results-driven
External Sales Representative to join a leading technical sales team based in Boksburg.
This opportunity is ideally suited to an ambitious sales professional with refrigeration and air-conditioning industry experience who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving business growth.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Non-Negotiable)
- 3–5 years' Technical Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning experience
- Proven external sales experience
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel and sleep out when required
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
- Computer literate
- Technical industry-related background
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- SAP experience advantageous
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Commercial awareness and sales acumen
Key Responsibilities
- Generate sales through existing and potential customers
- Identify and recommend products and services based on customer requirements
- Promote current specials and product offerings
- Maintain regular customer visits according to established call cycles
- Cold call and develop new business opportunities
- Monitor and report on market trends and competitor activity
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Utilise company systems, tools, and technology to maximise sales performance
- Achieve and exceed sales targets
