SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior SolidWorks Draughtsman to join our engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to develop their career in mechanical design, drafting, and product development.

Minimum Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Draughting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (2D and 3D modelling).
• 0–3 years of drafting or design experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.
• Produce assembly drawings, part drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Assist engineers with product design modifications and documentation.
• Maintain drawing registers and revision control.
• Support prototype development and manufacturing activities.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards and engineering requirements.
• Assist with technical documentation and design reviews.
