A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective financial management within a dynamic corporate environment.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making.
• Ensure monthly management reports are prepared accurately and submitted within deadlines.
• Assist with the preparation of management accounts, schedules, and financial queries.
• Develop, review, and maintain financial policies and procedures.
• Manage and oversee individual company accounts within the group structure.
• Support senior finance leadership with ad hoc assignments, projects, and reporting requirements.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.

Minimum Requirements

• BCom Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Completed articles at a Big 4 audit firm
• 5-7 years pos article experience
• FMCG/Manufacturing/Logistics
• Strong knowledge and practical application of IFRS.
• Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with reconciliations, management accounts, and financial analysis.
• Advanced computer literacy, particularly within accounting and reporting systems.
