A well-established vehicle dealership is looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team in Cape Town. This opportunity is ideal for a qualified technician with strong diagnostic, repair, and maintenance experience within a corporate dealership environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified Motor Mechanic with a Trade Test Certificate.
• Mechanical Engineering qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 4–5 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within a corporate vehicle dealership like Mercedes - Benz, Toyota, Ford, VW, etc.
• Experience working within a corporate vehicle dealership.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Valid SA Driver's Licence.
• Clear criminal record.
• Solid track record and contactable references.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general servicing and maintenance on vehicles.
• Conduct diagnostics and fault-finding on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Repair and test vehicles booked into the workshop.
• Complete job cards accurately and within allocated times.
• Carry out warranty repairs according to manufacturer standards.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment.
• Adhere to health, safety, and dealership procedures.
• Assist with technical problem-solving and quality control where required.
