SUMMARY

POSITION INFO

Our client is seeking a Trust Officer to join their fiduciary services team. This role is ideal for an experienced trust administration professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional client service while managing a portfolio of trust and corporate structures.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering a hybrid working arrangement, with attendance at the office required two days per week and the remaining three days working remotely from home.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the administration of offshore fiduciary structures, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and excellent client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer a portfolio of trust and corporate structures.
  • Process client requests accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Manage payments and distributions relating to client entities.
  • Prepare asset statements and maintain accurate client records.
  • Draft minutes, resolutions, and standard trust and company documentation.
  • Liaise with accounting, legal, compliance, and other internal teams.
  • Maintain compliance, due diligence, and KYC documentation.
  • Review client transactions and banking activity to ensure AML compliance.
  • Assist with new business onboarding and client file reviews.
  • Attend meetings with clients and service providers where required.
  • Support and guide junior team members.
  • Contribute to ongoing projects and process improvements.
  • Ensure accurate time recording and timely collection of fees.

Requirements

  • STEP Certificate, Diploma, or part qualification, OR
  • ICSA / Chartered Governance qualification, Diploma, or part qualification, OR
  • Relevant Law Degree.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience within trust administration, fiduciary services, corporate administration, or a similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of trust and corporate structures.
  • Knowledge of compliance, KYC, AML, and financial crime regulations.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
