Well established restaurant group in the Southern Cape is looking for a dynamic, passionate and hands on Sous Chef to join their team. The ideal candidate, must have worked in a fast-paced, upmarket bistro style dining establishment with high volume
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Staff management
- Stock management
- Opening and closing of the kitchen
- Health, Safety and hygiene standards
- Training, mentoring and upskilling of junior staff
- Running the pass and coordinating service
- General administration (stock takes / procurement)
- In the absence of the head chef - oversight of the kitchen

Qualifications
- Culinary diploma
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Computer literate
- Own reliable vehicle
- 4 years in a similar role
