What you will do

Purpose

  • Provide the Customer Development team with the required Commercial support, in particular with the Trade Promotional Management System, and the end to end life cycle of trade promotions, including budgeting, planning, payments / deductions, and post-promotional analysis.
  • Perform Ad-hoc Reporting when required to support customer engagements and business decision processes.

Duties

Commercial & Finance Support

  • Ensures and maintains Promotional Events in the Trade Promotional Management System (TIPPS) for all approved agreements.
  • Assist Customer Development team with event creation & invoice settlement, and ensure consistency in approach across business.
  • Monitor and track accuracy of settlements of Promotional Events.
  • Manage trade promotion budgets and ensure spending is within allocated limits.
  • Support TIPPs monthly close process.
  • Perform weekly reconciliation of Trade Spend accruals, and conduct follow up meetings stakeholders (I2C, Finance & Commercial) as required.
  • Supporting general Tipps master data activities, including product setup and new listings, ensuring data integrity and accurate pricing integration across all promotions
  • Supports internal and external audits and reviews.
  • Identify, document, and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Work closely with Commercial and Customer teams to support the delivery of the Customer business planning process.

Pricing

  • Support price list creation process and regular updates of pricelist in line with the company’s pricing policy.
  • Load, validate, analyze, identify, and resolve pricing issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all standards, policies, and procedures as it relates to pricing and customer master data.

Customer Master Data

  • Maintain an excellent level of customer master data consistency and integrity.
  • Create and update customer master data and customer hierarchy.
  • Understand material master data fields influencing the order process. E.g. ex: Delivery plant material, Transportation zones, EDPAR and partner functions.

Internal Reporting

  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis duties as needed.
