Requirements
Applicants who have applied previously to the previous
advert, CACD 01/26, need not re-apply.
- Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience
- A valid code EB drivers’ licence
- Computer literacy (Advanced MS Office skills)
- Knowledge of operations, administrative matters and
performance management methodologies.
- Ability to implement a Community, Arts & Culture Development
basket of services in a Region and to utilise organisational
capability skills to ensure smooth running internal functions,
delivery of impactful community-focused programmes and
supervision of programme implementers so that services reach
the most vulnerable communities in the City.
- Prepared to work outside of normal working hours inclusive of
weekends in various geographic locations throughout the City.
Key Performance Areas
In collaboration and in support of the Head:
- Implement programmes inclusive of Early Childhood
Development (ECD), Youth Development, Reducing Rough
Sleeping, Substance Abuse, Gender, and Vulnerable Groups.
- Oversee the management and operational functionality of
facilities and assets within the area of control, ensuring
maintenance in accordance with City policies
- Plan, manage, and control the use of financial resources
assigned to the branch and provide input into budget forecasts.
- Manage project and contract management processes for
assigned projects, programmes, and RFQs throughout the
design, implementation, and evaluation phases, ensuring
projects are completed on time and within budget with timeous
reporting on all relevant aspects.
- Manage and maintain effective communication with all relevant
internal and external stakeholders including initiating,
implementing and coordinating formal and informal partnerships
with community and social groups to further expand and /or
