BD-Nav is looking for a sharp, detail-driven Stock Controller to join our team in Gqeberha.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with numbers, stock movement, systems, and operational accuracy. You will play an important part in keeping stock levels accurate, reducing losses, supporting replenishment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Monitoring stock levels and ensuring stock availability.
• Conducting cycle counts, stock checks, and full stock takes.
• Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records across systems and physical stock.
• Supporting replenishment planning and stock forecasting.
• Tracking fast-moving, slow-moving, and obsolete stock.
• Identifying stock risks, shrinkage, damages, and write-offs.
• Preparing stock reports and tracking key inventory KPIs.
• Working closely with suppliers, warehouse teams, dispatch, receiving, and replenishment teams.
• Ensuring stock control processes, documentation, and audit requirements are followed.

What We’re Looking For

• A relevant degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, Operations Management, Warehousing, or a related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in stock control, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, distribution, or supply chain.
• Strong experience with cycle counts, stock takes, reconciliations, and variance investigations.
• Good understanding of stock control, receiving, dispatch, replenishment, and warehouse stock flow.
• Experience using ERP, SAP, WMS, or inventory control systems would be advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysing, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organisation, and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
