SUMMARY

POSITION INFO

A dynamic Internet Service & Network Specialist seeks an ambitious Sales Agent to join its Durban team. You will assist Account Managers and Senior Account Managers with internal sales-related activities, including preparing quotations, processing orders, maintaining customer records, and supporting day-to-day sales administration. The ideal candidate will need Matric/Grade 12, a Sales / Business or IT-related Degree/Diploma with at least 3 years relevant experience including Internal Sales with a proven track record of exceeding targets and contributing to high-performance team environments.

Operational Functions -

  • The provision of services into the customer organization is based on the services defined and in accordance with the contractual obligations agreed to between the business and the customer.
  • Ensure corporate governance is always adhering to.
  • Assist with sourcing the best possible prices.
  • Generate quotes on Order Entry.
  • Process orders to finance.
  • Ensure deliveries are made as per commitment to clients.
  • Compile tender responses to the required high standard.

Business Development -

  • Assist Account Managers with tenders.
  • Do quotes and issue quotes as per pre-defined OLA’s.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients tasked with procurement.

Financial Management -

  • Maintain healthy margins through successful fee negotiations / correct costing and margins).
  • Assist Account Managers to manage Debtors.

Monitoring & Evaluation -

  • Proactively identify and manage risk to the business.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric \ Grade 12 (Compulsory).
  • A sales, business or IT related Degree or Diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience including Internal Sales.
  • Results driven individual with a proven track record of exceeding targets and contributing to high-performance team environments.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
  • Dedicated and productive professional with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering quality results within deadlines.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring tasks, responsibilities, and follow-up actions are managed efficiently and accurately.
  • Experience in preparing quotations, processing billing, and assisting with cost management and administrative functions.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and provide excellent customer service while supporting sales objectives.
