A well-established company in Midrand from the IT industry is seeking Business Systems Manager.
POSITION INFO
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business IT, or a related field
- 5–8 years' experience in business systems management, IT operations, application support, or a similar role
- Experience managing enterprise applications and systems integration projects
- Proven leadership experience and stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other enterprise business systems
- Knowledge of databases, SQL, reporting tools, and system integrations
Advantageous Qualifications
- ITIL Certification
- PMP or PRINCE2 Certification
- Microsoft Dynamics, Azure, or Power Platform Certifications
- SAP, Oracle, or other ERP certifications
- Agile or Scrum certifications
Key Responsibilities
Business Systems Management
- Manage and optimise business applications and enterprise systems
- Ensure systems meet operational requirements and perform reliably
- Drive continuous system improvements and enhancements
Project & Systems Implementation
- Lead system upgrades, implementations, and integration projects
- Coordinate with business and IT teams to ensure successful delivery
- Oversee testing, documentation, and change management processes
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with business units to identify system requirements and improvements
- Translate business needs into effective technical solutions
- Provide user support and system guidance
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure systems comply with company policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
- Manage system access controls, audits, and documentation
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and support systems administrators and analysts
- Promote best practices and drive team development
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor and report on system performance and project progress
- Identify opportunities for automation, process optimisation, and digital transformation
- Contribute to strategic IT and business systems planning
