SUMMARY

A well-established company in Midrand from the IT industry is seeking Business Systems Manager.

POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business IT, or a related field
• 5–8 years' experience in business systems management, IT operations, application support, or a similar role
• Experience managing enterprise applications and systems integration projects
• Proven leadership experience and stakeholder management skills
• Strong understanding of ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other enterprise business systems
• Knowledge of databases, SQL, reporting tools, and system integrations

Advantageous Qualifications

• ITIL Certification
• PMP or PRINCE2 Certification
• Microsoft Dynamics, Azure, or Power Platform Certifications
• SAP, Oracle, or other ERP certifications
• Agile or Scrum certifications

Key Responsibilities

Business Systems Management

• Manage and optimise business applications and enterprise systems
• Ensure systems meet operational requirements and perform reliably
• Drive continuous system improvements and enhancements

Project & Systems Implementation

• Lead system upgrades, implementations, and integration projects
• Coordinate with business and IT teams to ensure successful delivery
• Oversee testing, documentation, and change management processes

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with business units to identify system requirements and improvements
• Translate business needs into effective technical solutions
• Provide user support and system guidance

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure systems comply with company policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
• Manage system access controls, audits, and documentation

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and support systems administrators and analysts
• Promote best practices and drive team development

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor and report on system performance and project progress
• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimisation, and digital transformation
• Contribute to strategic IT and business systems planning
