Facilities Coordinator

Coordinate daily facilities operations to ensure buildings, offices, ablutions, common areas, meeting rooms, warehouses, and external areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and serviceable condition.
Manage service providers, contractors, and vendors to ensure service delivery aligns with SLAs.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure facilities meet health, safety, and environmental standards.
Support compliance with health, safety, environmental, waste management, fire, and building-related requirements by coordinating inspections, statutory servicing, certifications, and follow-up actions.
Receive, log, prioritise, and follow up on maintenance requests, breakdowns, and facilities-related issues to ensure timely closure.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.

Matric / Grade 12 is essential.
A relevant qualification in Facilities Management, Property Management, Building Services, Maintenance Management, Engineering support, or a related field is advantageous.
A minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in facilities coordination, maintenance administration, property coordination, or site services support is preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, laboratory, or multi-department operational environment would be advantageous.
Working knowledge of contractor management, preventative maintenance, building services, and service level monitoring is required.
Exposure to health and safety requirements, fire systems, inspections, and statutory compliance processes is advantageous.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications is essential; experience with maintenance trackers, ERP systems, or facilities management systems would be beneficial.
