How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The role will focus on internal communication and supporting employees to understand and buy into the company's communications targets, principles, and action plans.Internal communication activities

Develop and implement an internal communications content strategy in line with the strategic objectives and provide an effective flow of information between Group, cluster and oneSA entities to create an environment of shared understanding.

Be the custodian of communication platforms in oneSA entities

Promote and maintain the Southern Africa Intranet by ensuring constant and relevant updates.

Support the local townhall preparation and ensure all event elements (venue, set up, technology, photography, audio are in place to achieve a seamless experience for employees

Maintain the Air Liquide South Africa website and liaise with Group digital media team for updates

Direct any media related queries/questions to the Communications Director

Ensure timeous adaptation and cascade of Group and/cluster campaigns to oneSA entities and dissemination of entity-specific comms

Business support activities

Provide support to the Commercial team in the development of branded collateral for use at conferences or external events

Assist functional leaders with their communication needs - assisting with creative processes, proofreading, updating digital channels and disseminating approved, grammatically accurate content

Attend and support business events with a view to give visibility to those events

Support Social Economic Development (CSI) activities within the three entities including facilitating and set up of the events.

Communication team interface

Interface with cluster communications teams to learn, share and grow knowledge in the field of communications

Under the guidance of the Communications Director, work with suppliers (design agencies, video and photography, event organizers) for the production of brand elements/artwork and events.

Contribute to Group Comms Coffee Talks

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Public Affairs, Political Science, or related field.
  • At least 1-5 years of experience
