Role Description

Due to the expansion of our Rapid Recovery Services across South Africa, we are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, remote position based in the Durban, Kwa Zulu Natal region. The technician will be responsible for refrigerant recovery and expanding A-Gas Rapid Recovery's clientele. Aside from refrigerant recovery , daily tasks include client acquisition, performing routine maintenance, ensuring equipment is in compliance with safety standards, and documenting all services provided. Collaboration with team members and clients is integral to this role, ensuring solutions are delivered effectively and on time.

This role suits a senior technician who takes ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys communicating and working directly with customers.

• Qualified Refrigeration Technician (Trade artisan and SAQCC registered)
• 8–10 years plus experience working on refrigeration systems
• Hands-on, solutions-focused and able to work independently
• Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel, manage work on client sites and deliver high-quality service
