Laser Aesthetician

An Aesthetic Laser Clinic in Stellenbosch is seeking a results-driven Laser Technician to join their team.

This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in laser and aesthetic treatments. Applicants may come from a beauty, somatology, physiotherapy, biotechnology, nursing, or other medically related background, provided they have the required hands-on aesthetic and laser experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing advanced laser and skin treatments, delivering exceptional client care, assisting with clinic operations, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Duties

• Perform laser and aesthetic treatments according to clinic protocols
• Conduct professional skin consultations and analyses
• Develop customised treatment plans and homecare recommendations
• Ensure accurate client record keeping and treatment documentation
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and treatment safety
• Monitor client progress and treatment outcomes

Front Desk & Administrative Duties

• Welcome and assist clients professionally
• Manage incoming telephone calls and enquiries
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Process payments and cashiering duties
• Maintain treatment room cleanliness and stock levels
• Assist with daily clinic administration

Team Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Contribute to clinic sales and treatment targets
• Participate in ongoing product and treatment training
• Assist with mentoring and supporting junior team members where required
• Uphold the clinic's professional image and client service standards

APPLICATION REQUIRMENTS

Applicants must hold one of the following:

• Physiotherapy qualification or
• Biotechnology qualification or
• International Beauty Therapy Diploma #CIDESCO #ITEC or
• Other relevant medical or health science qualification with aesthetic laser experience

Experience

• Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in aesthetics or advanced skincare
• Minimum 2 years' hands-on laser experience
• Proven experience performing advanced facial and skin treatments
• Strong consultation and client management skills
