Our Client, a leader in the Logistics Industry, is seeking to employ a reliable and motivated Merchandiser / Motorcycle Driver to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing multiple retail stores, ensuring products are well merchandised, fully stocked, and displayed according to company standards. Applicants must reside in or around the Cape Town area and have their own reliable motorcycle.

  • Travel safely between multiple retail stores according to a planned daily route.
  • Merchandise and replenish stock on shelves to ensure products are neatly displayed and visually appealing.
  • Install promotional material, signage, and point-of-sale displays to enhance product visibility.
  • Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor product performance and recommend discontinuation of slow-moving items.
  • Maintain accurate shelf layouts, stock levels, and inventory displays.
  • Ensure consistent stock availability and efficient product flow within stores.
  • Plan delivery routes effectively and manage time efficiently to meet daily targets.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with the office and store management teams.
  • Build positive relationships with store personnel to support merchandising activities.
  • Valid motorcycle licence (Code A or equivalent).
  • Previous merchandising experience within a retail environment.
  • Own reliable motorcycle.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good planning, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stores effectively.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and professional in appearance and conduct.
