SUMMARY

Are you a CAD Designer with experience in tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing environments? We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the development and industrialisation of products from prototype through to production. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver practical, production-ready tooling solutions.

POSITION INFO

Job Description

• Design jigs, fixtures, moulds, gauges, and assembly aids
• Produce 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
• Apply GD&T principles and support tooling design for manufacturability
• Support product industrialisation from prototyping through to production
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and production teams
• Assist with tooling improvements, troubleshooting, and supplier coordination

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4 years' experience in CAD design and development environments
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or similar MCAD software
• Experience with PDM systems, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and technical drawings
• Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, moulds, and manufacturing processes
• Experience within aerospace, automotive, composites, or precision engineering environments advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• National Diploma, BTech, or equivalent technical qualification
