POSITION INFO

A multinational organization within the automotive industry, based in Centurion, is seeking a Reporting Specialist to join its finance team. Operating across multiple markets, this business requires a technically strong CA(SA) to ensure financial accuracy, IFRS compliance, and reporting integrity in a highly controlled, performance‑driven environment.

This is a specialist role where you’ll act as the technical accounting expert, supporting both finance and operational teams while ensuring financial frameworks remain compliant, efficient, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the technical accounting expert and IFRS resource to the business
• Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Oversee reconciliations, balance sheet integrity, and lease accounting (IFRS 16)
• Monitor posting books, process corrections, and maintain GL structures
• Review and improve cash management processes and financial controls
• Support tax compliance and reporting requirements
• Drive internal control improvements and governance alignment
• Assist with B‑BBEE reporting and compliance initiatives

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• CA(SA) qualification (essential)
• 3–5 years’ experience (including articles)
• Strong exposure to financial reporting and technical accounting
• IFRS 16 knowledge essential
• Solid IFRS expertise (non‑negotiable)
• SAP experience beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
• Ability to operate confidently as a technical specialist in a multinational environment
