SUMMARY

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex process systems, improve plant performance, and deliver reliable automation solutions within a technically advanced engineering environment.

POSITION INFO

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain control and instrumentation systems
• Support plant operations by ensuring optimal system performance and reliability
• Develop control philosophies, logic, and instrumentation specifications
• Monitor and troubleshoot control systems to minimise downtime and improve efficiency
• Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to resolve system issues
• Assist in system upgrades, modifications, and optimisation projects
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards
• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and performance validation
• Interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and control system documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on process improvements

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a C&I Engineer
• Experience in the mineral processing and/or mining industry
• Strong knowledge of control systems, PLCs, and instrumentation
• Experience with process control and plant automation systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimise industrial control systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork ability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment

Qualification

• BEng / BTech Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering
