SUMMARY

Role Purpose

The Marketing & Product Co-ordinator is responsible for supporting the successful planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns, product launches, and related administrative functions. The role ensures that marketing initiatives are delivered efficiently, product information remains accurate and up to date, and all supporting marketing activities are coordinated effectively to support business growth and brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign and Marketing Co-ordination

Coordinate the planning, administration, and execution of monthly catalogues and marketing campaigns

Manage campaign timelines, approvals, supplier communication, and marketing documentation

Liaise with designers, printers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns are delivered on time

Coordinate product photography and campaign assets required for marketing activities

Monitor campaign progress and provide administrative support throughout the campaign lifecycle

Product Administration and Co-ordination

Coordinate product launch activities from briefing through to implementation

Assist with product artwork, packaging updates, barcode verification, and final artwork filing

Maintain accurate product information across all marketing platforms and systems

Coordinate product photography, product samples, and sample card administration

Assist with the development and distribution of product training information, launch materials, and product support content

Support the administration and coordination of marketing and sales support materials

Marketing Administration

Coordinate monthly Message on Hold updates and marketing support materials

Maintain accurate marketing records, files, databases, and documentation

Ensure marketing information is organised, accessible, and updated regularly

Provide administrative support to the Marketing Department as required

Supplier and Financial Administration

Obtain and process supplier quotations

Prepare purchase orders and payment requests

Assist with supplier communication and project administration

Ensure marketing expenses and supporting documentation are processed accurately and timeously

Support budget tracking and marketing expenditure administration

General Department Support

Provide administrative and project coordination support across marketing initiatives

Assist with ad hoc projects and departmental activities as required

Contribute to the efficient operation of the Marketing Department

POSITION INFO

Role Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric Certificate

Marketing, Business Administration, or a related qualification will be advantageous

Minimum 1 – 3 years’ experience in a marketing, administrative, or coordination role

Strong organisational and planning skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong administrative and coordination abilities

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Professional, reliable, and well-organised approach

Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within the Marketing function

Valid driver's licence
