Tax Administration
- Prepare and submit individual, company, trust, and VAT tax returns.
- Assist with PAYE, UIF, SDL, and EMP submissions.
- Monitor tax compliance deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
- Liaise with SARS regarding registrations, objections, audits, verifications, and compliance matters.
- Resolve tax-related queries and maintain accurate client records.
- Assist in obtaining Tax Compliance Status (TCS) certificates.
Compliance Administration
- Manage CIPC registrations, amendments, annual returns, and company secretarial duties.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor compliance calendars and maintain compliance records.
- Assist clients with regulatory registrations and renewals.
- Prepare and maintain compliance reports and documentation.
Client Support and Administration
- Serve as a point of contact for client compliance and tax matters.
- Collect, organize, and maintain client documentation.
- Prepare correspondence and reports for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Support the advisory team with compliance-related research and administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems.
- Diploma or Degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 years experience in tax administration, accounting, or compliance.
- Working knowledge of SARS eFiling, CIPC, and relevant compliance processes.
- Strong understanding of South African tax legislation and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Xero and Sage experience is essential.
