Special Instructions
- Previous experience selling Forklift (and/or similar type lifting equipment) repairs, maintenance contracts, workshop services, parts or capital equipment advantageous.
- Existing industrial customer network highly advantageous.
An opportunity for an experienced FORKLIFT SALES SPECIALIST is required for permanent employment based in Gauteng North.
- Develop new and existing business opportunities within industrial and commercial markets
- Promote workshop repairs, maintenance solutions and aftermarket support services
- Manage key customer relationships and identify growth opportunities
- Follow up quotations and convert opportunities into sales
- Liaise with service departments and technical personnel regarding customer requirements
- Conduct site visits and customer presentations
- Prepare weekly reports and maintain CRM records
- Monitor customer equipment performance and replacement opportunities
- Promote customer retention and long-term service agreements
- Assist with debtors and customer account queries where required
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Sales or Technical qualification advantageous
- 3-5 years external Forklift sales experience within industrial, material handling, workshop, automotive or capital equipment industries (and/or similar type lifting equipment)
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- CRM system experience advantageous
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Drivers licence essential
- Local residency or relocation required
