Equity Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Equity Analyst to join our client’s investment team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and analysing financial data, identifying investment opportunities, and providing actionable insights to support our investment strategies.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth research on companies, industries and market trends.

Analyze financial statements, economic data and market reports.

Perform equity valuation using various models such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.

Prepare detailed research reports and present findings to the investment team.

Track and monitor portfolio companies and recommend investment actions.

Develop and maintain financial models to support investment recommendations.

Work closely with portfolio managers and other analysts to refine investment strategies.

Qualifications/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree on Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field (CFA designation preferred)
• Minimum of 2 – 4 years of experience in equity research.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software.
