Role Purpose

The Delivery Accounts Manager will be responsible for driving end-to-end delivery excellence and program management outcomes across assigned business units and workstreams. The role focuses on building scalable, South Africa-based delivery teams while ensuring successful execution, stakeholder alignment, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivery Ownership & Program Management

* Own delivery quality, timelines, scope alignment, and business outcomes across multiple workstreams.

* Lead program governance activities, including:

* Integrated planning

* Dependency management

* RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)

* Milestone tracking

* Execution oversight

* Collaborate closely with internal delivery teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful execution.

* Maintain visibility across project progress, delivery health, and execution performance.

* Identify and mitigate delivery risks, resource constraints, and cross-functional dependencies.

2. Business Growth & Expansion

* Support growth initiatives within existing programs and strategic technology areas.

* Identify opportunities across the project lifecycle, including:

* Discovery and Design

* Development

* Testing and Quality Assurance

* Support and Stabilization

* Leverage delivery success to drive additional business opportunities and account expansion.

3. Capability & Talent Management

* Support workforce planning and capability development across delivery teams.

* Ensure optimal resource utilization and team effectiveness.

* Identify skill gaps and recommend upskilling, cross-skilling, or hiring strategies.

* Monitor delivery alignment and address capability-related risks proactively.

4. South Africa Team Development & Localization

* Support the recruitment, onboarding, and scaling of South Africa-based delivery teams.

* Work closely with leadership to strengthen local delivery capabilities and leadership pipelines.

* Travel within South Africa as required to establish delivery practices, team engagement, and stakeholder relationships.

* Contribute to localization and long-term workforce development initiatives.

5. Stakeholder Management

* Act as the primary execution interface between delivery teams and client stakeholders.

* Drive governance meetings, status reporting, escalation management, and stakeholder communications.

* Ensure delivery discussions remain solution-oriented, transparent, and focused on business outcomes.

* Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent delivery excellence.

6. RFP Support & Solutioning

* Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to support RFP and proposal responses.

* Contribute to:

* Delivery models

* Resource planning

* Staffing strategies

* Timeline estimates

* Risk assessments

* Localization plans

* Ensure proposed solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with delivery realities.
