Graphic Designer (Jnr)

At Design Infestation, we’re looking for an exceptional junior designer to join our team in Cape Town.

We’re not looking for someone to simply execute tasks. We’re looking for a designer with strong fundamentals, a willingness to learn quickly, and the maturity to take ownership of their work.

As a boutique agency, every team member contributes meaningfully. You’ll be entrusted with real responsibility, exposed to a wide range of branding, digital and communication projects, and mentored by designers with years of industry experience.

Requirements

• A tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Communication Design or a related field.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design thinking and creative ability (student work is welcome).
• 1–2 years of professional experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software.
• Working knowledge of motion graphics, animation and video editing.
• Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage deadlines and take responsibility for your work.
