Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Sales Consultant based in Ottery, Cape Town. The primary responsibilities include identifying client needs, providing technical consultation, delivering effective sales presentations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires conducting site visits, offering tailored solutions, troubleshooting technical challenges, and maintaining strong client relationships (e.g. after-sales support). The Technical Sales Consultant will focus on achieving sales targets while contributing to the growth of the organization and upholding LabWorks' commitment to professional excellence.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Expertise in consulting and technical support to guide clients and resolve technical inquiries effectively. Must Have experience in construction, waterproofing, property management industry with technical sales
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving for technical challenges on-site and remotely.
  • Background in sales and customer relationship management to secure and maintain client partnerships.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with a team and work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • A valid driver’s license, own reliable transport and proficiency with relevant software or CRM tools.
