SUMMARY
Are you immediately available for a FTC? Manufacturing company based in Linbro Park has an opportunity available for an experienced
Financial Accountant to be responsible for the full accounting function from data input to management reports and data analysis.
POSITION INFO
Successful incumbent will have a completed B.Com (Accounting) / similar degree, coupled with a minimum of 3-5 years related commercial experience preferably within the Manufacturing sector. Completed SAICA Articles will be highly advantageous.
KPI's include:
PO conversions - review and approve all non-stock and CAPEX purchase orders: approve and review all manual journals in line with manual JV SOP; analysis and review of the GL (IFRS and USGAAP); management reporting pack preparation; ensure continuous update of all policies and procedures; compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations and finance-related regulations, guidelines and codes of best practice such as SARS, STATSSA; SARB, Companies Act, VAT Act; SOX Act, Tax Act and maintenance and accuracy of the Wear and Tear Register; B/S reconciliations; full fixed assets management and assist the Financial Manager and Financial Executive with ad hoc tasks as required. Knowledge of SAGE X3 desired.
