Job Title: Quality Control / Industrial Lighting

Location: Benrose, Johannesburg

Basic Salary: R35,000 to R50,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

A leading industrial lighting manufacturer located in Benrose, Johannesburg. You will work at a world-class factory that values top quality and safety.

What You'll Be Doing

• Inspect incoming raw materials and finished goods to ensure they work perfectly.
• Maintain the company’s high-quality certifications, including ISO9001 and SABS standards.
• Read electrical wiring diagrams to check that electronic components function properly.
• Help the production team follow everyday Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Write and update clear, step-by-step procedures for the factory floor.
• Do time and motion studies to make factory tasks smoother and faster.
• Train, lead, and mentor the production staff to help them succeed.
• Write simple technical reports about quality data and process improvements.

Must Have!

• Qualification: Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or Electrical Engineering.

Required Experience

• System Knowledge: Experience working with ISO9001 quality systems or SABS standards.
• Technical Skills: The ability to understand basic electrical schematics and wiring layouts.
• Problem-Solving: Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach to fixing assembly errors.
• Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a positive, helpful attitude toward training others.
• Administration: Good organizational skills and basic computer skills for report writing.
