A growing and well-established insurance brokerage located in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg.
Our client is seeking an experienced Insurance Broker Claims Assistant to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong commercial insurance and motor claims experience to become part of a close-knit team environment and contribute to the delivery of exceptional client service.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative and operational support to the Account Executive
- Assisting with policy renewals and day-to-day portfolio administration
- Managing and following up on insurance claims processes
- Liaising with insurers, clients and service providers
- Assisting with client relationship management and service delivery
- Handling claims-related queries and administration and ensuring efficient resolution
- Maintaining accurate policy and claims records
Qualifications
- Matric
- RE5 qualification (essential)
Skills
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous insurance brokerage experience is essential
- Strong commercial insurance experience
- Strong motor claims experience (essential)
- Exposure to commercial motor and/or marine insurance (advantageous)
- Sound understanding of insurance claims processes and policy administration
- Strong client service, communication and relationship management skills
- Stable employment history demonstrating commitment and longevity in previous roles
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment
