The Role

Day-to-day At Ekco

Do you know exactly how to get past a gatekeeper and connect with busy managers and IT decision-makers? Do you thrive on creating opportunities and booking meetings that turn into real business?

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities for our Account Managers in the Netherlands. Outbound prospecting is at the heart of this role. You'll spend most of your day engaging with prospects, identifying opportunities and securing meetings that help drive Ekco's growth.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Your mission is to create high-quality sales opportunities for Ekco by engaging with prospective customers and introducing them to our Cloud, Security and Managed Services solutions.

Using your communication skills, resilience and commercial mindset, you'll connect with key decision-makers, uncover business challenges and schedule valuable meetings for our sales teams.

While you'll have access to industry-leading tools, you understand that successful prospecting ultimately comes down to building relationships, creating interest and starting meaningful conversations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities via phone, email and LinkedIn.
  • Identify and engage with key decision-makers within target organisations.
  • Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for Account Managers.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Promote Ekco's Cloud, Cyber Security, Managed Services and Business Continuity solutions.
  • Achieve agreed activity levels and performance targets.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in outbound sales, lead generation, telemarketing, appointment setting or business development.
  • Proven ability to engage decision-makers and navigate gatekeepers.
  • Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Resilient, self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Comfortable working in a KPI-focused environment.
  • Ability to handle objections professionally and confidently.
  • Experience within IT, cloud or managed services is highly desirable.
  • Fluent Dutch language skills (spoken and written) are essential.
