Our client is seeking a Receptionist to join their growing insurance business in Roodepoort. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and business partners, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience while providing efficient administrative support to the team.

Reception and Client Service

  • Welcome and assist clients, visitors, and service providers in a professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls.
  • Manage client inquiries and ensure prompt follow-up.
  • Maintain a professional reception area at all times.
  • Schedule appointments and meeting rooms.

Administration

  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, courier services, and mail.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and client records.
  • Assist with document preparation, scanning, photocopying, and data capturing.
  • Support the sales, underwriting, and claims teams with administrative tasks.
  • Monitor office supplies and coordinate orders when required.

Compliance and Record Keeping

  • Ensure accurate handling of confidential client information.
  • Maintain records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with document management and audit preparation when required.

Education

  • Matric (Grade 12) with strong academic results.
  • Additional qualifications in Administration, Business Management, Finance, or Insurance will be an advantage.

Experience

  • 1–3 years' experience in a receptionist, front-desk, customer service, or administrative role.
  • Experience within financial services, insurance, banking, or a professional services environment will be advantageous
  • Must be Afrikaans and English
