Senior ERP Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for a driven and experienced Senior ERP Consultant to join our growing consulting team at AS². In this senior role, you will be the primary point of expertise for Sage 200 Evolution while actively expanding your skills into our next-generation ERP offerings — including Acumatica and Sage Intacct.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Sage 200 Evolution implementations at client sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

• Serve as a senior resource and mentor for junior consultants within the team.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality client training sessions across all supported platforms.

• Provide expert-level technical support and exceptional customer service to clients.

• Analyse client business requirements and design effective, tailored ERP solutions.

• Collaborate with internal development and reporting teams to deliver integrated, customised solutions.

• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, process improvement, and best-practice documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 4+ years’ professional experience in ERP consulting, business analysis, or implementation.

• Proven track record with Sage 200 Evolution (Evolution Accreditation is highly advantageous).

• Exposure to or certification in Acumatica or Sage Intacct is a significant advantage.

• Experience in one or more of the following: strategic planning, project management, or business development.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Solid Microsoft SQL knowledge and practical experience.

• Familiarity with other ERP systems beneficial (e.g., SAP B1, Syspro, Microsoft Dynamics).

• Ability to interpret and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills — English & Afrikaans (written and verbal).

• Natural mentor with a passion for sharing knowledge and upskilling others.

• Positive attitude, high energy, and a genuine customer-service mindset.

• Must have a valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport (client travel required).
