SUMMARY
Stunning Lodge is looking for a SEASONAL CHEF
POSITION INFO
Seeking an experienced and independent chef to manage evening dinner service during the Namaqualand flower season.
Contractual Period: 1 August 2026 to 20 September 2026.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and preparing buffet-style dinners for up to 34 guests
- Preparing one main meal with accompaniments and one dessert daily
- Menu planning and food preparation
- Catering for dietary requirements
- Preparation of packed lunches for guests when required
- Buffet setup, service, and kitchen cleanup
- Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards
- Assisting with stock control and minimising food waste
- Operating independently within the lodge kitchen
Working Hours:
- Approximately 13:00 – 22:00 daily
- Includes preparation, service, and cleanup (Help will however be provided with cleanup)
- Lunch pack preparation may be required based on guest requirements and tour schedules
- Weekend and public holiday work required
