Engineering Manager
POSITION INFO
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to drive sales growth, develop client relationships, and expand market presence within the engineering and industrial sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling engineering products and services, securing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and providing technical solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable business.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals.
- Conduct regular client site visits and business reviews.
- Collaborate with technical, logistics, marketing, and sales teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Source and support the development of new engineering products and technologies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
- Resolve customer queries and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit sales, business development, and market activity reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years'' experience in a similar sales or engineering management role.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and business development.
- Knowledge of import and export processes is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent negotiation, networking, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel extensively (50%+ of the time).
