Our client is a respected South African engineering consultancy specialising in civil and pavement infrastructure projects. They deliver complex, large-scale developments across aviation and road sectors, with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and sustainable engineering practices. The business is known for technical excellence, collaborative project delivery, and long-standing relationships with key industry stakeholders.

Assist with routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on diesel-powered equipment and machinery. Support fault-finding, inspections, and basic troubleshooting while ensuring tools and equipment are well maintained. Work closely with senior technicians, complete service reports, and adhere to safety standards and procedures. Maintain a clean workspace and contribute to efficient, high-quality technical operations.

Job Experience and Skills Required

• BSc/BEng/BTech in Civil Engineering with ECSA registration (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng)
• 8–10 years’ post-qualification experience, including 5 years as Resident Engineer
• Proven experience on airport, runway, taxiway, or major road pavement projects
• Strong knowledge of GCC, FIDIC, or NEC contracts and construction supervision
• Expertise in pavement works, materials quality control, and stakeholder management
