About our Client
Our client is a well-established South African logistics and supply chain solutions provider, delivering transportation, warehousing, distribution, and integrated supply chain services to a diverse customer base. The company is recognized for its operational excellence, customer-focused approach, and commitment to delivering efficient and reliable logistics solutions across the region.
About The Role
The role has two clearly defined halves, namely Financial Manager and Head of Creditors. The seniority and technical bar is set at Financial Manager level, while a meaningful share of day-to-day time is spent leading and strengthening the group creditor’s function. The role reports to the Head of Accounts, works closely with the central finance team and partners with operational leadership across supply chain and subcontracting.
As Financial Manager, the successful candidate takes full ownership of the financial statements— responsible for every line, across both the supply chain and subcontracting functions, from revenue through to the balance sheet, including month-end close, reconciliations, controls and reporting.
As Head of Creditors, they own the creditors / accounts payable function across the entire group — leading the team, the supplier and subcontractor payment cycle, procurement controls and the heavy vetting and reconciliation work that the subcontracting model demands.
