SUMMARY

A leading investment and advisory firm is seeking a high-calibre Analyst to join its team. The role offers exposure to corporate finance, capital raising, and strategic advisory across a diverse client base, with the opportunity to work on complex transactions alongside experienced dealmakers.

Role Purpose

The Analyst will support senior team members in executing transactions, financial analysis, and client advisory mandates, requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial modelling, valuation analysis, and scenario planning
• Prepare high-quality client presentations, pitch decks, and information memoranda
• Perform industry, market, and company research to support transactions
• Assist with deal execution, including due diligence and transaction coordination
• Analyse financial statements and identify key business drivers and risks
• Support senior bankers in client engagements and strategic advisory work
• Maintain financial databases and ensure accuracy of all outputs

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Strong academic track record
• 1–3 years’ relevant experience in:
• Corporate finance
• Investment banking
• Transaction advisory
• Private equity / consulting (advantageous)

Technical & Competency Requirements

• Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills
• Solid understanding of valuation methodologies (DCF, comparables, transaction multiples)
• Strong analytical and quantitative ability
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and presentation development
