Role Description
The Financial Advisor will be responsible for providing professional financial guidance to clients, identifying client needs, building and maintaining client relationships, and assisting clients with suitable financial planning and wealth-management solutions.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Build and maintain a strong client base.
- Conduct client needs analyses and financial planning discussions.
- Provide professional advice on financial planning, retirement planning, investment planning, insurance solutions and estate-planning needs.
- Present suitable financial solutions to clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Develop long-term relationships with clients based on trust, integrity and excellent service.
- Identify opportunities for new business and client growth.
- Maintain accurate client records and comply with all internal processes.
- Work towards agreed business and production targets.
- Uphold the highest standards of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial-services requirements, company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- RE5 qualification will be advantageous.
- Relevant financial-services qualification will be advantageous.
- Previous experience in financial services, sales, insurance, investments, banking or client advisory will be advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Professional presentation and client-service approach.
- Strong sales and business-development ability.
- High level of integrity, honesty and reliability.
- Good administrative and organisational skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work independently and manage own client pipeline.
- Own transport and valid driver’s licence will be advantageous.
- Afrikaans and English communication skills will be advantageous.
- Candidates must be willing to comply with all applicable FAIS, FSCA, Fit and Proper, training, supervision and internal compliance requirements where applicable.
