Mid - level Product Designer

Our client in the healthcare technology sector is seeking a Mid-Level Product Designer with strong UI/UX expertise to join their Cape Town team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and user-focused professional who is passionate about designing intuitive digital experiences that solve real-world challenges within the medical industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, user-centred digital products and experiences
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and customer discovery activities
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders
• Translate complex requirements into engaging and accessible user experiences
• Contribute to and maintain design systems and UI standards
• Analyse user feedback and product metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Advocate for user needs throughout the product development lifecycle
• Ensure design solutions align with business and customer objectives

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Designer, UI Designer, UX Designer, or similar role
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design capabilities
• Experience designing web and mobile applications
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools
• Solid understanding of user-centred design methodologies
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Medical, healthcare, or health-tech industry experience is essential
• Relevant qualification in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is advantageous
