We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Procurement Manager to oversee procurement activities across our South African operations. This role is central to ensuring that our restaurants, support teams and business functions have access to the products, services and supplier partnerships they need to perform at their best.

Working closely with operational teams and key suppliers, you will balance quality, cost efficiency and reliability while building procurement processes that support the continued growth of our business. Your Mission

You will ensure that every purchasing decision reflects our commitment to quality, consistency and value. Through thoughtful supplier management, strategic sourcing and operational excellence, you will help create a resilient supply chain that supports our teams and enables exceptional guest experiences.

As a trusted business partner, you will identify opportunities for efficiency, negotiate favourable supplier agreements and ensure procurement practices remain aligned with the needs of a growing organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

Procurement Strategy & Supplier Management

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that support business objectives and long-term growth.
  • Source, evaluate and onboard reliable suppliers who share our commitment to quality and service.
  • Build strong, collaborative supplier relationships and negotiate favourable commercial terms.
  • Review supplier contracts and agreements to ensure continued value and performance.
  • Develop a diverse and sustainable supplier network to support operational continuity.

Purchasing & Order Management

  • Oversee purchasing processes and ensure the timely procurement of goods and services.
  • Monitor purchase orders and supplier deliveries to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand operational requirements and forecast demand.
  • Ensure procurement activities are efficient, organised and aligned with business priorities.

Cost Control & Risk Management

  • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation without compromising quality or service standards.
  • Conduct supplier risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
  • Monitor procurement spend and contribute to effective budget management.
  • Analyse procurement data and establish benchmarks to drive continuous improvement.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Prepare procurement reports and provide insights into supplier performance and purchasing trends.
  • Monitor supplier quality, pricing, reliability and service levels.
  • Evaluate procurement effectiveness and recommend improvements to systems and processes.
  • Support data-driven decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.

Quality & Brand Standards

  • Ensure all purchased products and services meet Tashas Group quality standards.
  • Maintain consistency across supplier relationships and procurement processes.
  • Continuously review procurement practices to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support operational teams by ensuring procurement standards align with business and brand expectations.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Experience managing procurement budgets, contracts and supplier performance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confidence working across multiple stakeholders and business functions.
  • Experience within hospitality, retail, food service or FMCG environments will be advantageous.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
