SUMMARY

A well-established research business is seeking to appoint a Mechatronics Engineer

To support the team with motion control setup and fault-finding, drive setup and fault-finding, electronic, electrical, as well as electromechanical repairs

and maintenance as well as support to projects during design, development, installation, acceptance testing and maintenance.

POSITION INFO

Qualification

BEng or BSs (Eng) in Computer/Electrical/Electronic/ Mechatronics, NQF level 8
Valid Driver's licence
Eligible for registration as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA
3 years post qualification experience

Experience

Mechatronic sub-system development and/or experience in the maintenance and modifications of mechatronic systems
Drive setup and tuning

Knowledge

Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and/or factory machinery.
