We are seeking a warm, engaging and guest-focused

Senior Hotel Guest Experience Host with proven hotel guest relations experience. This is a role for someone who loves working with people, thrives on creating personalised experiences and takes pride in making every guest feel valued, recognised and at home.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' guest relations or front office experience within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment
  • Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of guest service, VIP hosting and complaint handling
  • Proficiency in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-centric approach
  • Professional presentation and confidence when interacting with high-profile guests
  • Strong organisational, multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience from arrival to departure
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide personalised assistance, recommendations and solutions
  • Handle guest queries, feedback and complaints professionally while ensuring effective service recovery
  • Coordinate VIP arrivals, special occasions and guest requests with relevant departments
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of Cape Town attractions, dining experiences and local activities
  • Work closely with Front Office, Concierge and Food & Beverage teams to deliver exceptional service
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles and preferences to enhance repeat guest experiences
  • Uphold the hotel's service standards, brand values and commitment to excellence
