POSITION INFO

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Hydraulic Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of hydraulic systems used in industrial, mining, manufacturing, or mobile equipment applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems and components.
  • Perform hydraulic calculations, system sizing, and component selection.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
  • Investigate equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to deliver engineering solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and engineering standards.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in hydraulic system design, maintenance, or applications engineering.
  • Sound knowledge of hydraulic circuits, pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and power units.
  • Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel when required.
